Practice tennis alone
1. Self-throwing
In situ
Turn the body and lead the racket to get ready to hit the ball before throwing the ball on the spot. Be careful to throw the ball at about 45 degrees to your body, not too close to your body.
Move left and right
Throw the ball on the right side of your body, then move your foot to a suitable position to hit the ball.
Up shot
Throw the ball in front of the body, step into the court sideways, and follow up with the ball.
High and low ball
Toss the ball low, lower the racket head as much as possible to lower the center of gravity and pull the ball across the net.
Toss a high ball, volley the ball or catch the ball forward.
Backslash
Throw the ball on the left side of the body, then move to the left to the backhand position and hit the forehand diagonally.
Of course, you can also mix the above exercises, and you can freely combine the distance of moving back and forth, left and right, and the height of the ball. But within the controllable shot range, throw too far, enough to hit the ball instead of using the consolidation of the shot.
2. Line combination
When you are alone, you can not only practice hitting the ball simply, but also practice ball control and tactics. Every time you succeed in a purposeful hit, your advantage will be further expanded.
On the basis of practice 1, self-throwing and self-playing are free to practice various combinations of hitting lines, such as two straight lines + one straight line.
Remember to return to the original position every time you hit the ball to simulate the actual shot.
3. Knock on the wall
2 requirements:
To determine the goal of hitting the ball, you can use tape to stick an area on the wall and try to control the ball within this range.
The shot should be coherent and rhythmic. Don't blindly exert force. After two shots, the ball will fly away. In the end, you will get tired and there is no practice effect.
Doing these two points can also play a role in training pace adjustment and hand control ability.
